Yam Global Design is a dynamic architectural firm, made up of a collective of professional designers committed to provide excellent services to our clients and investors.

Our team set up provides agility to adapt to different size projects, from domestic to multi-units and mixed used developments. The team is led by company principal George Yam, who has been heading up architectural and consultant teams over the last decade for leading U.K. practices. We have experience from house extensions to multi-units mixed used developments, with an emphasis on the balance between design quality and budget.
We operate to work stages set out by the Royal Institute of Architects. We offer early stage feasibility advice, planning application & building control submission, through to construction stage where we can inspect work progress as well as administrate the building contract on behalf of our clients.
We provide design solution and advice to maximise the potential of each of our projects, both aesthetically and financially. We are always happy to explore new projects and development opportunities with our potential new clients.
GEORGE C. YAM
Principal
George C. Yam was originally from Hong Kong, who was trained in England and has worked in the U.K. and the U.S.
George attended school at Marlborough College, Wiltshire prior to commencing with his professional studies at the University of Nottingham.
George has 20 years of local and international experience in architecture, interior design, masterplanning and project management. In his early career, he worked within the education, health care and housing sectors with major London practices. With an interest in high end and design-led projects, George later joined a specialist design firm working on bespoke hotels, offices and one-off houses for high net worth clients.
He understands the commercial aspects of the developments and the integration of designers from different disciplines in complex projects. With an eastern heritage and western design influences, George has successfully delivered high profile projects as Project Director for investors based in the U.K, Europe and the Far East.
